Pumpkin. Cake batter. Dip. ‘Nough said.
There are so many reasons why I absolutely could not live without Pinterest. Well, I’m sure I’d live, but life sure wouldn’t be the same without some of the artery-clogging, unusually clever, and ‘Hey, I never thought of that before!’ pins I’ve encountered.
I won’t go naming off each and every reason why Pinterest is amazing because that would take an eternity and a half. However, I will say that it’s the main reason why I have an addiction to anything and everything cake batter-related.
Right?? I mean, isn’t that true for everyone else in the Pintrosphere? Who knew there was so much more you could do with cake batter rather than just baking it into a cake? Who knew there was a way to enjoy it’s ‘come hither’ sweet flavor without risking salmonella from raw batter? Who knew you could infuse it into foods like cinnamon rolls, muddy buddies, ice cream, Truffle Bark, pancakes, stew….ok, maybe not stew. But still! Who knew all of the possibilities and potential it had??
Before I go on and on about why cake batter is so amazing (I think I already have), let’s just get straight to the point of this post.
PUMPKIN CAKE BATTER DIP (title to be imagined in a powerful and very deep echoing voice).
Surely most of you have come across the seductively sweet charm that is Cake Batter Dip. I just decided to kick it up a notch by adding pumpkin into the mix. I mean, it’s pretty much impossible to go wrong when you add pumpkin to anything!
I just have to say, when cake batter and pumpkin make a baby together, it’s a beautiful thing. For the tastebuds, that is.
And what’s more, it’s such a simple treat to make for any upcoming holiday party, whether it’s Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas…Martin Luther King Day!
People will flip over this dip! All you need is five minutes and a few ingredients! Really!!
And there’s barely any mess or cleanup involved since it’s all mixed into one bowl with one spoon–no hand mixer or stand mixer needed. Yay for easy and quick cleanups!
So if you’re looking for any last minute recipe ideas, this one is perfect for you! And if you can’t find anything for dipping, well…my fingers have never let me down…

Cake Batter dip?! Sure, I’ll try it- sounds amazing! I don’t eat cake batter usually, but I’m all about cookie dough. Which also has been made into ‘dip’ form which I discovered on Pinterest. I love it too (Pinterest, that is). Too much good stuff!! 🙂

The only thing that makes this recipe better are those cookies you used for dipping. I’ve had them before and I love them! Great recipe!
Kaylin – The ginger cats are one of my favorite Trader Joe’s staples! Who knew they could be even tastier dipped in pumpkin? 🙂
