Seeing as I was in charge of providing ALL of the desserts for my cousin’s wedding this past Saturday, I decided I’d give myself a little break this week. When you’ve made 345 chocolate chip cookies, 324 lemon cheesecake bites, and 300 mini buckeye bars, you tend to feel a little pooped out on baking.
So instead of my usual recipe post, I’mma share with you my top ten baJillian recipe favorites thus far. THESE are the sweets and treats that I so greedily kept all to myself and shared with NO ONE 😉
Let’s start with…
#10 Soft and Chewy Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies
Although these look a lot like the infamous Lofthouse Cookies which are sold in the bakery department of pretty much every grocery store in the universe, I’d have to say that these ones are much better!
#9 Salted Caramel Croissant Bread Pudding
I literally had to move this sweet masterpiece of caramel-licious goodness into another room (out of sight, out of mind) so that it wouldn’t keep staring me in the eyes…calling my name…persuading me to inhale its entirety.
All of the textures, all of the flavors…there really aren’t enough words in the world to describe how pleasant each bite is.
#7 Miss Trunchbull’s Chocolate Cake
The cake from “Matilda” that we all swooned over! Like The Trunchbull, I’m sure you’ll agree that this is “the most scrumptious cake in the entire world.”
Three layers of Oreo in one single bite–crispy Oreo crust, smooth Oreo truffle filling, and creamy dreamy Oreo cream filling.
#5 Chocolate-Dipped Salted Caramel Granola Bars
How can you not be in love with every word in this title???
#4 Salted Caramel Sweet Potato Casserole
If you don’t end up making the casserole itself (which I HIGHLY recommend you do!), you must at leasttry making the sauce. It’s perfect on cakes, sweet breads, ice creams, cheesecakes, and my favorite…fingers!!!
#3 Circus Animal Cookie Ice Cream
Let’s be honest, the ONLY fun part about being an adult is having the freedom to make unbelievably sugar-laden treats like this.
#2 World’s Best Cinnamon Rolls
Slicing into these rolls to get my first piece out was literally like cutting into clouds. These have to be the fluffiest, softest, most pillowy cinnamon rolls I have ever had in my entire life.
And finally, drumroll please……….
EVERYTHING about these bars is perfect from the super soft, cinnamony snickerdoodle layers, to the melty milk chocolate, and the warm, fluffy, ooey gooey marshmallow fluff.
