  • 1 (8 oz) bag Snickers Bites*
  • 10 ounces semi-sweet chocolate melted
  • Mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  • Bake brownies according to package directions, and cool completely.
  • Cut a border around the outer edge of the pan to separate the crispy brownie edges from the Use a fork to fluff up brownie, leaving crispy outer edge.* Crispy edges don't squish into truffles very well.
  • Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Using a small cookie scooper or wet hands, scoop out about 1 1/2 tablespoons of brownie dough and wrap around one Snickers bite. Roll into a ball and place onto lined baking sheet. Repeat with the rest of the brownie dough, then freeze brownie truffles for at least 15 minutes.
  • Remove brownie truffles from freezer and dip into melted chocolate, using two forks to tap off any excess chocolate and transfer back to the baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle a few mini chocolate chips on top, if using. Repeat with the rest of the brownie truffles.
  • Refrigerate truffles until chocolate has set. Truffles stay fresh for up to one week sealed in an airtight container at room temperature.

Notes

*You could easily substitute Milky Way bites, Twix Bites, mini Reese's cups, Rolos, Hershey Kisses, or any other kind of miniature chocolate candy for the center!
*The crispy edge leftovers are great under a scoop of ice cream!
