Welp, the Fourth of July is juuuuuust around the corner, people!
While this holiday is usually all about the BBQ, you can’t have a proper Fourth of July celebration without desserts, right? That’s why I thought I’d help y’all out a little by posting some of my favorite recipes that are PERFECT for good ol’ Independence Day!
From patriotic ice cream sandwiches to heavenly cream pies, odds are you’ll find SOMEthing from this delightful list of sweet treats to share with your friends and family this Fourth of July!
#1. Red, White, and Blue Cheesecake Cake – Yep. Nothing screams “‘Murica!” quite like a rich, lusciously dense layer of cheesecake sandwiched between two moist and deliciously fluffy layers of cake, ALL frosted in the creamiest vanilla buttercream! This cake has it all!
#2. Strawberry Shortcake Blondies – This definitely isn’t your “traditional” Strawberry Shortcake, but I can pretty much guarantee that it’s just as heavenly. With a deliciously dense and buttery blondie in place of the shortcake, this twist on the classic is much more decadent.

Red Velvet, White, and Blue Ice Cream Sandwiches – With a layer of no-churn red velvet white chocolate chip ice cream, a layer of cheesecake ice cream, and a fabulously festive blue white chocolate shell, these Red Velvet, White, and Blue Ice Cream Sandwiches are all you need to cool down this Fourth of July!
