Just six ingredients and one bowl is all it takes to make these ultimately fudgy, ooey gooey, and chewy Peanut Butter Snickers Brownies!
Seeing as it’s been WAY too long since I’ve made any brownies on my blog, I decided this week would be the perfect time to break that horrible streak. And boy will you be glad when you see what I have in store for you!
Check out these unbelievably rich Peanut Butter Snickers Brownies!
There’s never been a more beautiful marriage than peanut butter and chocolate. And it’s not just your everyday plain ‘ol peanut butter in these brownies. I decided to go ALL THE WAY by adding these Snickers Peanut Butter Squared bars!
I mean, why not?
I don’t think it takes a genius to figure out that candy bars and brownies go perfectly together.
Now, if you’re not much of a peanut butter fan (I don’t know who is, and who would want to?), you can always use regular Snickers bars, and they would be just as good! I just happened to have a lot of these Snickers Peanut Butter Squares from one of my many couponing trips, and I wanted a way to use them up besides the obvious approach of building a Peanut Butter Snickers tower, knocking it over, and devouring it like I’m Godzilla. Anyone else have that same idea? No?
… ANYway….I know I say this a lot about many of my recipes, but this one truly is SUPER SIMPLE and QUICK to make! It only requires 6, as in SIX stinkin’ ingredients to make, and it can all be made in one bowl–NO mixer needed! I love it when I don’t have a ton of cleanup!
Since the main purpose of this recipe was to keep it simple and quick, I used a boxed brownie mix. Thanks, Betty Crocker! Though I did heighten the flavor and fudgy chocolatey-ness by adding espresso into the batter. Don’t worry, you won’t taste the espresso at all! Trust me.
I also added in some chocolate chips because you can never go wrong when you add chocolate to chocolate. I used the mini semi-sweet chocolate chips because they disperse throughout the batter a lot better than the bigger ones. Though if you only have the regular chocolate chips on hand, don’t stress it. They’ll work just fine!
There’s just something about brownies that NOBODY can resist, and these are proof of that! They were unbelievably fudgy and gooey in the middle and chewy around the exterior–everything you want in a brownie. I loved the layer of Snickers peanut butter in the center which melted perfectly into the brownie. So rich! So peanutbuttery! So PERFECT!
While I was tempted to hoard all of these brownies to myself (THEY WERE SO GOOD!!), I repressed my fatty urges and shared them with my coworkers. And boy were they a hit! Without a doubt, I will definitely be making these again, especially since they were so freakin’ easy to make and took barely any time at all!
Sometimes, the best treats are the easiest ones!
Six Ingredient Peanut Butter Snickers Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 box brownie mix
- ⅔ cup vegetable oil
- ¼ cup espresso cooled*
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips divided
- 8 Full Size packs of Snickers Peanut Butter Squared unwrapped (16 squares total)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Butter or spray an 8x8 inch glass baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, stir together the brownie mix, oil, espresso, and eggs. Add 1/4 cup of the chocolate chips and stir until combined.
- Pour 1/2 of the batter in the glass baking dish. Arrange the Snicker squares evenly over the batter. Pour the remaining half of the batter over the Snicker squares. Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips evenly on top.
- Bake in the oven for 1 hour. Check with a toothpick--may need to continue baking for an additional 5-10 minutes. I left mine in for 5 more minutes.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.

Wow. I need these!! Thank you so much for linking up at Tasty Tuesday! Your recipe has been pinned to the Tasty Tuesday Pinterest board! Please join us again this week!
Yummy, yum, yum!! These look amazing. Thomas is a chocolate fanatic, and these are totally up his alley; plus adding the snickers is definitely making me want to try one for myself. You always have the most genius ideas Jillian.
I’d love to incorporate Twix into a dessert too, any ideas?
These are super simple to make and they’re very customizable depending on what your favorite candy bar is! I actually was trying to think of a recipe the other day that would incorporate these Twix Bites I bought from the store–I might be making a cookie recipe with them 🙂
I feel like this recipe combines all that is good in this world. <3 Thanks for sharing this! I feel like I'll need to get my hands on some peanut butter Snickers sometime soon!
“There’s never been a more beautiful marriage than peanut butter and chocolate.” AMEN SISTER! I’ll eat anything peanut butter and chocolate, but those Snickers are my favorite (and the PB Twix, and Reese’s PB cups, and… lol)! Another win for you, Jillian! Thanks for another amazing share with us at Delicious Dish Tuesday!!!
