A S’more take on the classically addictive snack, featuring chocolatey peanut butter-coated Krave S’mores cereal, Teddy Grahams, and teeny tiny marshmallow bits!
Is it just me, or has the cereal aisle turned into the cookie aisle?
Not that I’m complaining or anything. You all should know by now that I like my frosting with just a crumb of cake. I’m just simply stating an observation. With the kinds of cereals you see in store shelves today, I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard at all for a cereal company to advertise sugar-coated sugar cubes as “part of a complete breakfast”.
And although these “cereals” aren’t the healthiest of breakfast options, they do provide a lot of new and creative possibilities for snack recipes. For example…
This Krave S’more cereal will definitely kick your ordinary puppy chow up a few notches. While the classic puppy chow is always a crowd-pleaser at parties (or while binge-watching Netflix all day in your adult onesie), the Krave cereal rectangles add that extra oomph!
They’ve got a light, somewhat airy crispness, and the fact that each rectangle is filled with the added richness of chocolate-marshmallowy goodness is a definite bonus.
Like all puppy chows, this recipe is an absolute SNAP to throw together. Just melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together, pour in the entire box of Krave cereal, stir, then shake in a beautiful dust storm of powdered sugar.
Oh, and to S’morify (SO totally a word) this puppy chow, I added some cute little Teddy Grahams along with some mini Mallow Bits and s’more chocolate chips. Get it?? S’MORE chocolate chips…ok, I can stop now.
Easy, no-bake, few ingredients, and not to mention, outrageously addictive! What more do I need to say to convince you?
I don’t know about you guys, but I really crave some more puppy chow right about now. Or should I say, KRAVE S’MORE PUPPPY CHOW??
…ok, that’s it…I promise.
